Reimagining the future of civil society


Reimagining the Future of Civil Society is a strategic RACI initiative that seeks to respond to the profound transformation the social sector is undergoing. It emerges as a collective proposal to rethink the role, sustainability, and legitimacy of social organizations in a context of growing restrictions, funding cuts, a crisis of trust, and new global challenges.

The program proposes an innovative and collaborative approach, articulating activities at the local, regional, and global levels, with a special focus on the Global South.

What do we do within the framework of the program?

Through this space, we promote:

  • Applied research on trends, threats, and opportunities for the social sector.
  • Strategic meetings and dialogues with organizations, donors, governments, and other key actors.
  • Training and communities of practice to strengthen the sector’s sustainability, communication, and narrative.
  • Production of tools and recommendations to rethink the model of social organizations from the Global South.

This program is carried out with the support of strategic allies and the active participation of organizations from across the region.
