In partnership with BBVA Argentina, we carried out a new edition of the Annual Social Inclusion Prize, which recognized the organizations SEA – Señas en Acción and FIBO Impacto Social for their innovative projects and their commitment to sustainable development.
In its fourth edition, the prize received 123 applications from across the country under the motto “Every piece matters. Every action does too.” The initiative seeks to recognize and strengthen best practices promoted by civil society organizations that contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The recognition includes financial support of 5,000,000 Argentine pesos and specialized institutional support, with the aim of providing tools to ensure continuity, replication, or scaling of the actions developed by the winning organizations.
From RACI, we celebrate this partnership with BBVA which, year after year, makes it possible to highlight and strengthen the work of organizations that promote inclusion, innovation, and sustainability throughout the country.
SEA – Señas en Acción was recognized in the category related to SDG 4: Quality Education for its project SEAPP – Digital Sign Language Dictionary, the first free application created in Argentina that combines a living sign language dictionary with instant translation and content developed by deaf professionals.
The tool seeks to improve accessibility and academic performance for deaf children, ensuring a participatory approach with linguistic rigor and cultural relevance. Developed in partnership with Global Wizards LLC, it was officially launched in 2024 and is already available on Google Play.
FIBO Impacto Social, meanwhile, was recognized in the category related to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth for its project Alma Nativa: From the forest to the digital market, healthy and fair.
The initiative enabled organizations from 12 provinces with no prior experience in digital commerce to access, for the first time, a shared online store, Alma Nativa, based on principles of fair trade, solidarity, and cooperation.
The project included technical mentoring throughout the year, with organizational diagnostics, catalog development, pricing strategies, narrative strengthening, and the activation of digital sales channels. In addition, a face-to-face meeting in Chilecito (La Rioja) was held, bringing together producers and cooperatives to build a collective identity and a shared roadmap.
